Q: Do you have any studies about long-term use of MEDIFREEZE?
A: MEDIFREEZE is an over the counter topical analgesic pain relieving gel. It is
labeled according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations
regarding topical analgesics. All ingredients, product use and product warnings
are listed on the label.
Remember that MEDIFREEZE is a topical pain reliever, not a cure to an underlying
condition. It provides temporary pain relief. If you have any questions

Q: How long does MEDIFREEZE LAST?
A: The product has a shelf life of 2 years, it will probably last longer. It may lose it potency after the expiration date, but the product will not spoil after this date.
Q: What is Cryotherapy?
A: Cryotherapy works by creating a cooling sensation that is transmitted through
the nerve endings to the brain. It transmits at speeds faster than most pain
sensations or warming sensations. Unlike icing an area, Biofreeze allows blood
to continue to flow to the area so that it can be naturally repaired.
Q: Does MEDIFREEZE contain any gluten or other grain-based products?
A: No

medications?
A: No. It is only a topical pain reliever and does not enter the bloodstream.

Q: If I am Pregnant or nursing – Can I use MEDIFREEZE?
A: No, MEDIFREEZE has not been tested on pregnant or nursing women. Please

Q: Can I use a heating pad while also using MEDIFREEZE?
A: No, you should never use a heating pad while using Biofreeze. Biofreeze works
by causing a cooling effect, not heat. By using a heating pad in conjunction
with Biofreeze, you may cause serious injury to yourself. You may not be able to
tell how hot the heating pad is on the problem area, even possibly causing
yourself to experience severe blistering.
Q: Can I wrap the area where I have used the Biofreeze?
A: You can use a breathable wraps “only” when using MEDIFREEZE.
Q: How should I treat MEDIFREEZE if I get it in my eye?
A: Rinse the eye with warm water or flush you eye with running tap water from
the faucet. Do this for 15 minutes or so. If problem persists, see your
physician.
Q: Can I use MEDIFREEZE for sunburn pain.
A: No
Q: Can I use MEDIFREEZE on insect bites or for poison ivy?
A: No.
Q: Will MEDIFREEZE on headaches?
A: Yes, many people apply a small amount at the back of the neck or around the
temples, and forehead.
Q: Is there Aspirin in MEDIFREEZE?

Q: Can I use MEDIFREEZE on an open wound or stitches?
A: No
Q: My child or pet ate MEDIFREEZE?
A: If your child placed it in mouth but did not swallow, flood mouth with
lukewarm water and rinse out mouth thoroughly.
If your child swallowed MEDIFREEZE, flood mouth with lukewarm water. Try to
induce vomiting. If a large amount is consumed, contact a Poison Control Center.
Pet – Contact your veterinarian immediately. Normally, the smell overwhelms
their senses and therefore, does not appear as food or something appetizing.
Q: after applying MEDIFREEZE, I have developed a rash/irritation on
my skin?
A: Take a (warm) bath with one cup of baking soda, for at least 20 minutes. If
rash persists, contact your physician.
Q: Can I use MEDIFREEZE if I have Diabetes?
A: Yes, MEDIFREEZE is a topical pain reliever and does not enter the
bloodstream. You must be extremely cautious when using any OTC medications.
There are certain ingredients in OTC medications that do go in to the
bloodstream that can cause a severe reaction to the Diabetic patient. MEDIFREEZE
does not contain any of these ingredients and can be used by the diabetic
patient. However, please consult with your Health Care Professional before use
of the product.
Q: Is MEDIFREEZE vegetarian friendly?
A: Yes, No animal products are used in the ingredients. MEDIFREEZE is also not
animal tested.
Q: How do I remove MEDIFREEZE if it gets on my clothes?
A: It’s stainless and is water soluble. Just wash the clothes as you normally would do.
