This issue is way over due,
but I hope you find it worth reading. This one is focused on
massage and relaxation. Future ones will focus on other topics such as
aromatherapy, pain relief and many others, the underlying theme that will
tie them together is a less stressful and healthier life. There has
been a lot of work going on at
www.ultimatewatermassage.com.
But before I go on and on
about the great new changes at the site.
How about some
information you may be able to actually use today. Talk to my
stressed out friends and (myself included) the most common comment when
stress and lifestyle comes up is "Relax, Exercise?" I can't even slow down
to a jog.) If that sounds familiar (certainly not you but
undoubtedly a friend ;-)) I have a few suggestions that just about anyone
can use.
Quick Stress Relief
You can use this quick
stress reliever anytime, anywhere. No one will even know you're doing it.
This is an anytime, anywhere form of progressive relaxation therapy
Start with a moment of
focused breathing
Breath in slowly and
deeply through your nose filling your lungs from your abdomen up to your
chest . Now pay attention, this may be a different type of breath than you
are use to, breathe from the belly, your stomach should expand before your
chest. This provides a deeper and different kind of oxygenation than a
typical chest based breath
Hold for a count of 5
Open your mouth slightly
and exhale slowly through your lips. Feel the tension leave your body with
your breath.
Repeat 2 or 3 times
(Important: Stop immediately if you feel dizzy or light-headed.)
Now the muscle tensing
Tighten the muscles in
your toes. Hold for a count of 5. Relax and enjoy the sensation of release
from tension
Flex the muscles in your
feet. Hold for a count of 5. Relax
Move slowly up through
your body- legs, abdomen, back, neck, face- contracting and relaxing
muscles as you go .

If you have not visited
Ultimate Water
massage for a while, your are in for a pleasant surprise. We have added a
great selection of massage tools. My personal favorite is the bonger,
there is nothing better to release the tension buildup in your neck and
shoulder, just tap gently on your shoulder where your neck meets your
shoulder.
The hottest new tool we
have is the
Brainwave. This is a battery powered tingling scalp massager. This
provides an intense tingling sensation, increased circulation in the scalp
areas, and will raise goose bumps all over. We have had a lot
of people purchasing them for relief from headaches, they swear by them.
The legs are copper and can be shaped to satisfy any head. The legs
can also be shaped to tingle other parts of your body as well. It also
works well without being turned on. If the initial sensation is a
little to intense try it without the power until you are used to the
sensation.
